The Avendus Wealth - Hurun India U35 List 2025 honours 155 exceptional first generation and next-generation leaders who are deepening their impact across the Indian economy and steering their ventures toward sustainable, meaningful growth. This curated list highlights two categories of entrepreneurs: first-generation founders building ventures valued at USD 50 m or more, and next-generation leaders steering family-owned businesses with valuations of at least USD 100 mn.
The U35 List is part of the Avendus Wealth - Hurun India Uth Series that celebrates the new wave of founders who embody ambition, innovation and intent. Spanning three age brackets - U30, U35, and U40 - the series captures the spirit of the evolving fabric of entrepreneurship in India.

About Hurun India
Hurun India was launched in 2012 under the leadership of Anas Rahman Junaid, a graduate of the University of Oxford. Junaid met Rupert Hoogewerf, the founder of Hurun Global, through Oxford, and the duo believed it was the right time to spotlight wealth creation in India, as they saw the country booming. Methodology
The Avendus Wealth – Hurun India U35 List 2025 is an exclusive compilation recognizing India’s most remarkable entrepreneurs aged 35 and under. Eligibility criteria include a minimum business valuation of USD 50 mn for first-generation entrepreneurs and USD 100 mn for second-generation and subsequent-generation founders.
This distinction highlights the significant accomplishments of young leaders who are shaping the future of India’s business landscape. Employee figures have been sourced from company annual reports, credible media coverage and reputable data platforms. The cut-off date for the list is 1 September 2025.
