Great Terrain Investment Ltd, an affiliate of Warburg Pincus, sold its 3.74% stake in Computer Age Management Services (CAMS) worth USD 54 million (INR 428 crore) recently. The transaction was executed at INR 2,306.18 per share, a tight discount of 3.0% to 18th August’s closing price of INR 2,378 per share. The demand was predominantly from Long Only Funds, which was a combination of both FIIs and Domestics.
Avendus Capital and Spark Capital advised Great Terrain, an affiliate of Warburg Pincus, on this transaction.
