Avendus Absolute Return Fund, the first Equity Long/Short Alternate Investment Fund (AIF) by Avendus Capital Public Markets Alternate Strategies LLP, crossed the milestone of Rs 1000 crore of assets under management in July 2017.

Avendus Absolute Return Fund, managed by the experienced team of Vaibhav Sanghavi, Piyush Shah, and Tarun Kewalramani, and led by Andrew Holland, achieved this phenomenal target within four months of launch. Bhautik Ambani spearheaded the marketing effort to raise funds from HNIs, multi-family offices and corporate treasuries. This is the first Equity Long/Short AIF venture of Avendus Capital. The Avendus Absolute Return Fund invests in Indian-listed equities and equity derivatives, targeting to generate absolute returns with lower volatility than the overall stock market.
