Avendus Finance today announced the appointment of Sandeep Thapliyal as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Avendus Finance provides customized financing solutions to its corporate clients through Structured Debt, Mezzanine, High Yield products and assists in capital structuring as well as arranging optimal financing solutions.

Sandeep joins Avendus from RBL where he was Head of Commercial Banking and as a part of the core team was instrumental in growing the bank over the last 3.5 years. Sandeep has over 22 years of extensive and multi‐functional experience in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Project Finance and Asset Reconstruction. Prior to joining Avendus, Sandeep has worked with RBL Bank, Religare Capital Market Ltd, Citibank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI).

Sandeep is a Business Management Graduate from Delhi University and an MBA from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon
